OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The California Creative Arts Society exists to promote, protect, educate, inspire, and empower creative individuals from all artistic disciplines. We are committed to nurturing the creative spirit by providing artists, musicians, writers, filmmakers, performers, visual artists, and cultural innovators with the tools, knowledge, opportunities, and support necessary to build sustainable and meaningful careers.

Our mission is to encourage creatives to never abandon their artistic dreams, recognizing that creativity is not only a form of self-expression but also a powerful force that shapes culture, preserves history, strengthens communities, and inspires future generations.

Through education, mentorship, advocacy, networking, professional development, and community engagement, we strive to help artists grow their talents, expand their opportunities, and achieve their highest potential.

As the home of the Greater Sacramento Urban Music Awards, held annually each September, the California Creative Arts Society proudly celebrates and honors excellence in the arts while inspiring the next generation of artists to pursue their passions with courage, discipline, and purpose.
